YUCCA PLANT

 

The Yucca plant is a very popular house plant in the same family as the Dracaena Marginata, this plant growing on a long stem and branching out to other stems have long leaves slightly larger than the Dracaena Marginata. the shape and size of this plant makes it an eye catching feature for any house. Like the Dracaena Marginata

the leaves require a clean every now and them to remove dust build up allowing the plant to photosynthesize properly and grow healthy

.

Water this plant regularly keeping moist but not wet at all times, water less during the winter months as growth shall stall as light drops.

 

The Yucca plant is best suited to light shaded areas out of full intesnse sun and heat.

 

Propagation of this plant is by cutting the branches as close to the main stalk as possible and potting into multipurpose compost with some root hormone powder to promote root growth.
