STAPELIA FLAVIROSTRIS
The Stapelia Flavirostris is a very unique Succulent that grows in the shape of the traditional cactus image but it has soft fleshy growth and clusters with many branches and off-sets. Stapelia Flavirostris grows between 6-12inches tall.
Stapelia Flavirostris requires average water needs, watering regularly keeping moist but not wet, this plant likes full sun to partial shade conditions and is not frost tolerent so needs to be kept indoors during winter months.
The bloom on this plant is mid to late summer and is a pale yellow/red colour. Bag bloom head to collect ripening seeds, seeds once cleaned can be successfuly stored.
Propagation by seed, dividing the rootball and planting the off-set cuttings allow the cutting to callous over befor planting to protect from rot.
