SCILLA VIOLACEA
This is a fabulous plant which looks fantastic and is a wonderful house plant which is silver/Grey,Green/Blue in colour, this is a clustering plant which grows very quickly.The bloom on this plant is between the months of may and august blooming regularly with whitish coloured flowers on small stems. This plant has a bulb at the base of the plant that the leaves grow from.
This plant should be kept free from frosts and at a temperature no lower than 6 degrees, the plant is drought tolerant. The watering habits of this plant is during summer months water 1-2 times a week or when dry and during winter once a month or when dry.
Propagation of this plant is relativly easy by judt removing the offsets produced around the bulb of the mature plant, make sure to leave attached to mature plant until it is a reasonable size with its own roots.
