PETUNIA 'CHERRY RIPPLE'
The Petunia 'Cherry Ripple' has shades of creamy white and berry red blooms with ruffled flowers. This eye catching trailing petunia is a British bred plant to help survive our unpredictable hot and cold, wet and dry summers, so you can get great blooms whatever the weather. The Petunia 'Cherry Ripple' is a fantastic plant for baskets and pots with its trailing effect, for a spectacular summer display. The growing height of this plant is about 25cm and has a spread of about 35cm.
The Petunia 'Cherry Ripple' is an annual plant and can be grown from seed of bought as plugs. Growing seeds is best brought on in warm indoor locations free from frost in early spring and then transplanted out into the place you wish to let it grow, make sure the plant is allowed to get used to outside conditions slowly 7-14 days prior to final planting.
Dead head and pinch out the centers of the plant to encourage more blooms and bushier growth. Grow the plant in full sun locations and make sure to water and feed plant on a regular basis during dry months, the flowering period is between the summer months of June, July, August, September and October. This particular Petunia breed is native to Britain as mentioned earlier.
