One of the most popular types of house plants, they are easy to maintain and have a lovely white bloom on them.

 

Repot this plant when roots become visable and when the plant is sucking up water very quickly. The plant does not like full sun but likes light shade, if the end of the leaves become brown then the Peace Liliy may be getting too much light, move the light before it damages the plant too much. In the right conditions the Peace Lily will bloom well.

 

The Peace Lily requires lots of water during spring and summer, not letting this plant dry out, during winter months only water when dry as the plant requires less water as growth will be slower.

 

Propagation of the Peace Lily is by division of the crowns, using a sharp knife cut away the crowns adjoining the main center crown.
