HAWORTHIA CHLORACHANTHA
The Haworthia Chloracantha is a small spiney leafed plant with fleshy leaves and is very decorative as a house plant or as part of a Succulent or Cacti garden.
The Haworthia Chloracantha off-sets readily from mature plant filling pots quite quickly.
Haworthia plants require small amounts of water so water only when dry, around about once a month should be fine, never keep wet or sat in water. Plant likes to be kept in a sunny light location some protection from the intense midday sun may be required if leaves start going brown in colour. The best temperatures for growing and blooming is in the region of 70F-85F.
Bloom on this plant is from a long stem shooting up from the center of the plant with small flowers on the end of the stem, stem can grow up to around 30cm up from the plant.
Propagation for this plant is by dividing the off-sets and from seed.
