GARDEN PANSY

Pansy plants are hardy and survive all weather conditions thrown at them making then a great low maintainance plant for yor garden or hanging basket, these plants come in a wide range of colours and all the flowers seem to have a face like characteristic too them, Pansy plants bloom all year round so on those dark winter days they explode colour into your garden.

 

Growing from seed plant 6-8 weeks before you plan to transplant them, grow in late winter for spring/summer flowering or late spring/summer for winter flowering. Can grow them in a multi purpose compost and grow about 7-12 inches apart.

 

Water these plants regularly, most common cause of these plants not doing well is due to lack of water. Remember to remove dead flower heads to encourage new growth and prolonged flowering periods. You can use a general plant fertalizer on these plants also to help increse growth and blooms.
