ENGLISH LAVENDER

English Lavender makes for a wonderful low hedge, great for bordering pathways.

The grey-green foliage is evergreen and blooms with tall lilac flowering stems.

The foliage is very fragrant and makes for a delightful scent and makes English Lavender ideal for sensory gardens and bringing bees and other beneficial insects into the garden.

Growing Lavender is easy and is pretty much self sufficient requiring very little care and attention. It is slow growing plant growing only around 2ocm a year and requires trimming in the autumn once bloom has died off.

Lavender can be grown from cuttings or from seeds, bring seeds on in pots indoors then move to sheltered outdoors location when big enough to harden off the plant for outdoor living.
