ECHINOPSIS CV. 'TUFTY'
This stunning cacti should be grown in summer temperatures that are consistently 21C/70F or more to
keep growth active and to produce the stunning flowers produced during March/April time.
The Echinopsis is hardy to colder temperatures but needs to be kept indoors out of frost and freeezing conditions.
this plant is dought tolerant but also can survive a bit of damp, as a rule water when dry during the summer and not at all during the colder months of winter.
The Echinnopsis cacti will produce its bloom at around 3 years of age and is a fast growing plant for cacti standards. This is a lovely plant to have on your sunny west/south west window and if cared for well, will repay you with great colourfull blooms.
Propagation of this plant is by seed germination and offsets produced once mature.
