ENCYCLOPLANTS
BURRO'S TAIL (SEDUM MORGANIANUM)
Burro's tail is best grown in a hanging pot where the overlapping leaves grow up to 3feet and are of green/grey/blue in colour.
Watering this plant let the plant dry slightly between waterings and keep the soil dry during the winter months. This plant can be fertilized once in the summer with a balanced fertilizer preferably 10-10-10.
This plant rarely blooms but if/when it does it has pink or red flowers on stems during the summer months. These flowers fall off easily if touched or blown too much by wind so keep in a sheltered location.
This plant can be grown indoors or outdoors during summer months in a shaded location, exposure to full sun will burn the plant so a light shaded location is best.
The Burro's Tail needs to be kept indoors during the winter months as it is not hardy to frost.
The Burro's Tail is a native plant to Mexico.
