ALOE PEGLERAE

 

The succulent Aloe Peglerae has thick fleshy leaves of grey/green colour and has big red/brown spikes down the edge of the leaves so needs to be handled with care.This succulent is a very good low maintenance house plant. 

 

The bloom of this plant is in late autumn early winter with an impressive show when everything else isnt in flower, attractive to bees, butterflies and birds if outside. 

 

This plant is drought tolerant and is best placed in full sun to partial shade, water only when dry, during summer months once a week or when dry should be sufficient and during the winter months once a month or when dry is best. Keep this plant protected from frost.

 

Propagation of this plant is from off sets just simply remove from parent plant and pot up.
