AGAPANTHUS

 

The Agapanthus plant boasts lovely leaves and a beautiful cluster of flowers during the months of June to August. The flowers grow in bunches of light blue/white with reflexed petals.

The Agapanthus grows to a height of around 80cm and a spread of about 50cm. These plants are perennial plants and are perfect for beds, borders, or even pots and containers.

Prefers a location of full sun to partial shade, the Agapanthus is hardy down to temperatures between 1C and -5C, as a perenial this plant is evergreen and will bloom every summer. 

Keep well watered during the summer and flowering months but restrict water during the colder winter periods for best results and survival of harsh winters.

The Agapanthus originated from South Africa but is now a widely grown plant.
